You expect someone to pay out because you fell down stairs? Didn’t you see the stairs were there? If others had fallen then you had an extra duty of care on the stairs, which you seemed not to take.
Quite how you got done over is beyond me, by your own admitted negligence you caused yourself injury, you paid nothing for the “no win no fee” as you didn’t win
So many people are abusing the system ,as had a detrimental effect on the way the insurers view “accidents”, because britain is fast becoming the 51st state, it’s encouraging a claim culture, of course every aspec of a claim will be scrutinised i’m affraid, the best advice is to be more vigalent at work! many accidents are born out of tiredness and lack of concentration, how do employers prepare for that?..
